🥟 🇯🇵 Gyoza Wrapper
As the price of gyoza wrappers trippled since the last year and I don't know which hard / strong flour to use, I searched how to make them with soft / weak flour and I found a perfect recipe.
Original recipe in Japanese: 強力粉がなかった時に◎薄力粉で作る餃子の皮 レシピ・作り方
Ingredients (40 wrappers)
❖ 300 g soft / weak flour
❖ 1 table spoon katakuriko or potato starch
❖ 1 table spoon vegetable oil
❖ 1/4 tea spoon salt
❖ 150 cc boiling water
❖ Katakuriko or potato starch for rolling out the dough
Preparation
1️⃣ Mix all the ingredients.
2️⃣ Knead the dough for 5 minutes. Let it rest for 30 minutes.
3️⃣ Shape the dough into logs and divide into 40 pieces, sprinkle katakuriko or potato starch over the board, and make round wrappers with a rolling pin.
